Man marries transgender in Indore

Marriage is not about age, 
it is about finding the right person

Setting a benchmark for the society, Junaid (30) from Indore married a transgender Jaya (32) on Vanlentine’s Day. The couple tied a knot according to Hindu rituals on Thursday in Indore, despite oppose from the groom’s family.

“We were in love since one year now and we wanted to formalize our relationship. There is no better day than Valentine’s day to get married,” Junaid said.
“The couple exchanged garlands in a local temple in Indore. Junaid Khan is a local businessman while Jaya, left the transgender community to begin her own start up,” sources close to the couple said.
Jaya is also a social worker with a local NGO Badlaav and is working among the LGBT community. “She was earlier associated with the local transgender groups. She left the group to establish a start up and prove her metal,”  sources said.

The couple is also planning for a Muslim wedding soon.
