Based on the real life story of Divine and Nazeya, in Gully Boy, actor Ranveer Singh is seen playing Murab Ahmed and Bhatt his love interest Safeena Firdausi. The story focuses on a slum boy who wishes to become a rapper and his struggle to pursue his dreams. Siddhant Bist (Mc Sher ) is a street rapper in the movie and plays the role of his friend . Kalki kochlin (sky) is the one who gives them opportunity.

The movie narrates the struggle of a boy from Mumbai streets, who is passionate to accomplish his dreams .He is the son of driver whose parents struggle a lot to educate him, to get reputed job . His dreams are different and he want to become a rapper . Against all odds, he started working towards achieving his dreams. This story shows the love of Murad for his passion.
The story is one time watch this a inspirational story and gives the message  that if you really want to achieve your dreams so you can achieve no matter what hurdles and problems you are facing.

With the stellar cast, Raveer Singh and Alia Bhatt has once again proved their nerves as actors.  The fresh music and exhilarating beats, this movie spins an inspirational story of a youth who wishes to achieve his dreams.
