Road accident in Pakistan claims lives

Two passenger buses in the Punjab Province of Pakistan collided on Sunday. 19 people were repoeted dead and over 40 were injured, the police said on Monday. 

The accident took place on Sunday night near the Ghazi Ghaat area. 

Police said that, 19 people including 13 from the same extended family died in it.

The rescue teams shifted the injured to various hospitals.  The reason behind the accident is till not known.

Prime Minster of the nation, Imran Khan expressed his grief and sorrow over this tragedy. He also expressed his deep condolence and sympathy to the family of dead and injured people. Along with this he has also directed the authorities to provide the best medical help to the injured. 

Usman Buzdar, Chief Minister of Punjab also condoled over the loss of precious lives in the tragic incident.

Road accidents are common in Pakistan mainly due to reckless driving or poor condition of the roads.
