They were arrested during an operation on Monday by personnel of the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) during an operation.

Three boats of the fishermen were also confiscated and a case has been registered against them at the Karachi Dock police station.

The two countries arrest each other's fishermen regularly who enter the waters due to the absence of any proper technology which confirm the coastline between the two countries near sir Creek in the Arabian Sea. They are kept in jail until they are set free on certain occasions.
