Four die in a road mishap in MP.

Four members of a family, including two children, on their way to a temple on  Wednesday, were thrashed  down by a truck on Satna-Simaria road.Two others were injured in the accident.

The incident occurred at around 4 AM,at wee hours, when a group of six persons, including two children, was walking towards the Durga temple, located 5 kms away from the city. "The victims are identified as Chunni Pyasi (65), Renu (30), Lalla (6) and Shubhi (8)," Kolgawa police station in-charge RP Singh said, adding that they were residents of Ghugchhiyai village.


The injured persons are undergoing treatment in Satna. Police were alerted about the incident around an hour later by some passers-by. A case has been registered against the truck driver, who fled the spot after the accident, adding that further investigation is underway.
