Three policemen abducted from J & K

Terrorists on Friday morning abducted three policemen from Shopian district of Jammu & Kashmir. 

Police officials were reluctant in sharing any kind of information but a police spokesman conformed that the information was being verified from the ground. 

The reports about the abductions have come nearly three weeks after terrorists had abducted and released relatives of policemen from various places in south Kashmir.

Relatives of at least 8 people whose relatives work in the J & K police were abducted on the night of 30 August. 

The commander Riyaz Naikoo, Hizbul Mujahideen had claimed the responsibility for the abduction. In a 12 minute video he demanded the release of all relatives of terrorists who were in police custody giving a deadline of 3 days. 

The NIA arrested the second son of globally-wanted terrorist Syed Salahuddin, leader of the Hizbul Mujahideen group, resulting into the abduction of 30 August. 

Salahuddin's son was arrested on charges of receiving secret funds.
