Heavy rains disrupt routine life in Delhi

Relieving the residents of Delhi, heavy rains lashed different parts of the country capital on Saturday bringing down the temperature to 25 degrees, the recent Met report claimed. 

The minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, a little above the season's average, and the maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius during the day. The Met Department has predicted light rains across the city on Sunday as well. 

"The skies will remain generally cloudy. There is the possibility of light rains tomorrow," a MeT official said.

Heavy rains lashed different parts of central and east Delhi.

The Palam observatory recorded 42 mm of rainfall while the Lodi Road observatory registered 1.7mm of rainfall.
