Sridevi's mortal remains finally released for embalming process

The Dubai Police have finally cleared the release of Bollywood legend Sridevi's mortal remains on Tuesday for embalming process, putting an end to the family's wait to bring the body back to Mumbai for cremation. the Dubai Prosecution Service has also closed the case investigation into the actor's death. 

Sridevi's stepson actor Arjun Kapoor also reportedly flew down to Dubai to be with his father producer Boney Kapoor and in the wake of overseeing the formalities. 

The embalming procedure will take a minimum of 1.5 hours after which the body will be bought to Mumbai, a news website reported. A death certificate has been given to Sridevi's family, after the case was closed. 

Boney Kapoor reportedly found Sridevi's unconscious in the bathtub filled with water on Saturday. She was rushed to the hospital where she was declared brought dead. 

In the recent development, Sridevi's family will return to Mumbai by Tuesday night on a chartered plane belonging to Anil Ambani. Her funeral is expected to take place at Pawan Hans in Mumbai on Wednesday.
