Demonetization reduced flesh trade and Naxal activities: Ravi Shankar Prasad

Bhopal: Putting his foot firmly in his mouth Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday claimed that demonetization has reduced flesh trade in the country. He was addressing a media conference during his visit to the state capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, to recount the achievements of the BJP ruled Central government after the introduction of demonetization.
He also threw light on how this economic move reduced the stone-pelting issues in Kashmir and also brought down Naxal activities. "Flesh trade has considerably reduced in India with trafficking among women and girls have considerable gone down," he said while listing the achievements post the introduction of demonetization on the eve of 'anti-black money day'. 
Commenting on the recent gang rape of a coaching student that shocked the city he said, that this was an unfortunate incident and action has been taken against the police officials.
