Fifty Thousand Cash Payment in 85 Percent Mandis under BBY

Cash Payment of Rs. 50 thousand to the farmers against sale of agriculture produces have been ensured in about 85 percent of mandis of the state under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana. Farmers are getting payment of Rs. 50 thousand in cash against sale value of their produces. The balance amount is being deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers through RTGS.

As per news release from Government of Madhya Pradesh, orders of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan issued in the interest of the farmers of the state under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana have been ensured completely in all the Krishi Upaj Mandis.Total 127.36 crore payment in cash have been made to the registered farmers against sale of their agriculture produces during the working days of 23 Krishi Mandis of A category from October 23 to 26. The balance amount of Rs. 251 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers through RTGS.

Cash Payment of Rs. 50 Thousand Begins in Mandis of Indore Division

Concrete arrangements of cash payment of Rs. 50 thousand against the total sale amount of Farmers’ agriculture produces have been ensured in Krishi Upaj Mandis. Acting strictly on the complaints of cash payment of Rs. 10 thousand being made to the farmers in 27 mandis of the Indore division, Commissioner Sanjay  Dubey has ensured arrangement cash payment of Rs. 50 thousand in all the mandis. Arrangement of cash payment of Rs. 50 thousand on token basis has been made in Indore and Dhar mandis.

2.24 Lakh Metric Tonne Soybean Sold by Farmers

Total 54 thousand 231 registered farmers have sold 2 lakh 24 thousand metric tonne soybean under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana from October 16 till now. The average sale rate of soybean is Rs. 2500 per quintal in the state. This rate is equivalent to the rates prevailing today in the mandis of Rajasthan and Maharashtra, which has been displayed on the AGMART Net portal of Government of India.
