Kaifiyat Express derails in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya district, 70 injured.

Auraiya:  After a manhandled error near Muzzaffar Nagar killing 23, in yet another incident, nearly 70 passengers were injured after nine coaches of Kiafiyat Express derailed near Auraiya in Uttar Pradesh in the wee hours of Wednesday. Despite no deaths being reporter in this incident has surely raised a question on the credibility of the Indian Railways.
The train met with an accident after truck carrying sand overturned on the road parallel to the tracks in Acchalda area at about 02. 45 am on Wednesday morning.  The injured have been shifted to the nearly hospital, sources confirmed.
If sources are to be believed, the collision between the truck and the train happened at around 02.40 am near Achhalda, derailing nearly eight coaches.  One coach overturned due to the massive impact of the collision.

Notably, this incident comes just three days after 14 coaches of Kalinga Utkal Express were derailed at Khatauli on Saturday, killing 23 people and injuring more than 60 people.
Several trains have been diverted and a few are rescheduled post this accident. NCR Chief PRO GK Bansal said, “A number of trains have been cancelled following derailment of Kaifiyat Express. These include the Kanpur-New Delhi Shatabdi Express, the Lucknow-Agra Cantt intercity express, the Lucknow-New Delhi Gomti Express and all passenger trains running on the Kanpur-Tundla section..”.
“New Delhi-bound Rajdhani trains originating from Howrah, Rajendra Nagar (Patna) and Bhubaneswar, besides the Garibrath from Ranchi, have been diverted via Lucknow-Moradabad”, he added.
In addition, more than 40 trains scheduled to run through the Kanpur-Tundla route have also been diverted, he said.
